Horizons Opportunity Program

The horizon itself is limited only to one's sight and is the point at which the world meets the sky. The nature of the Horizons program, therefore, is embedded in the view that students are limited only by their own vision and should be encouraged to reach as far as they can. Students are thus able to contribute to the formulation of their own goals and to direct much of their own academic progress, course work, extension projects and extra curricular activities.

Typical activities that run in conjunction with the Horizons Opportunity Program include:

  • Individual projects

  • Differentiated group activities

  • Gifted & Talented education initiatives

  • External competitions and testing

  • Inter-school activities

Feel welcome to browse some of the examples of work produced by our Horizons students.
